Chair designed by J Kędziorek 60s 70s

The Chair was made in Gościcińskie Fort meblowe at the turn of the 60/70. It was designed by Janusz Kędziorka, then the "Willa Fort Mebli" designer. Chair GFM - 87 is a curved shape, small size, comfort, quality and above all beautiful Polish design from the beginning of the 1970s. Classic, the construction of the simple Chair is broken by unique bypassed organic armrests. The Chair has been renovated with the upholstery and carpentry. The replacement and the upholstery has been mentioned - high quality material has a very interesting texture - a combination of stripes and so-called. "Paprochów" and non-obvious colours - a combination of plum, pomegranate and Burgundy with patches of pink, red, purple and blue. The solid beech wood frame was originally covered with a thick layer of varnish. Wood was carefully cleaned and polished and dyed with a stain and finished with natural wax. The matte finish subtly reflects light and is very pleasant to the touch. The feet were covered with felt to not scratch the floor. Finally, for the stability of the Chair, the screws have been replaced by a more robust screw - brass (visible on the last picture - previous pictures show the original screws). We have the original label of the product, which has been kept before the renovation - she reminds the authenticity of the furniture and its metric.
