PH5 by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen The PH5 lamp is one of the icons of Scandinavian design. This original PH5 designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958 in Denmark Louis Poulsen. The lamp is white and is so designed that it does not dazzle what the position is. The fixture is made up of three screens, and a cone which is attached to third ribs. The fitting is original porcelain. In PH5 the light spectrum to which the eye is the least sensitive, enhanced by two smaller colored screens. The red-lacquered inside of the cone allows for a warm light tone. The PH5 was first introduced in 1958 at the exhibition "Glass, light and colors" at the Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen
