The chest can be used for storage or just as an unusual statement piece. Heavy chest of very fine quality, that when it was new, must have been very expensive and used by the wealthy. Features of the trunk include metal edgings, metal gilt locks, copper studs, leather handles, wheeled base and original drawers and maker’s mark. Condition: cleaned and polished, but not refurbished.
