Pair french vintage empire style heavy brass single wall lights.the sconces are made up of a shaped backplate with a decorative hoop at the top. The arms are in a scroll design and lead to round candle drip holders. The candle drips have been replaced with new beige acrylic drips which are in keeping with the sconces. Originally crafted as candle sconces, these exquisite pieces have been lovingly transformed into electric fixtures, preserving their timeless beauty while embracing modern functionality.the lights have french 2 core wiring and each sconce takes 2 small screw in bulbs e14s. Us and canadian buyers are able to find adapters to use these wall lights with their e12 bulbs (without the need to change the bulb holders). Please search on line 'e14 to e12' adapter. The lights are in good solid condition with age related marks, tarnishing, pitting and deep time worn patina. The candle drips are new. There is a hanging bar on the back of each sconce for hanging.
